Menurut Plt Kepala BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, yang menyampaikan informasi ini dalam sebuah konferensi pers, jumlah kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara pada caturwulan pertama tahun 2024 mencapai puncak yang belum pernah terjadi sejak tahun 2020.

  • Malaysia: 170,6 ribu kunjungan (16% dari total bulanan)
  • Australia: 127,97 ribu kunjungan (11,99%)
  • China: 85,96 ribu kunjungan (8,06%)
  • Singapura: 81,23 ribu kunjungan (7,61%)

Rata-Rata Lama Menginap:
Pada bulan April 2024, rata-rata durasi menginap wisman yang meninggalkan Indonesia adalah 7,92 malam, dengan perincian sebagai berikut:

  • Dari ASEAN: Rata-rata 4,39 malam
  • Dari Afrika: Rata-rata 14,67 malam
  • Dari Yaman: Rata-rata menginap paling lama, yaitu 57,53 malam
  • Dari Hong Kong: Rata-rata menginap paling singkat, yaitu 2,04 malam

Peningkatan ini mengindikasikan pemulihan yang kuat dalam sektor pariwisata pasca pandemi dan menunjukkan potensi untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan melalui industri pariwisata.
